Hiking itinerary
- Start: Pont du Diable (near Thueyts)
- Distance: approx. 4.5 km (one-way)

Departure from Pont du Diable: You start off at Pont du Diable, an impressive natural site in its own right.
Follow the marked trail: The trail is well signposted. You'll walk through a forest of chestnut and oak trees.
Cascade viewing: After a 2-km walk, you'll reach a lookout with a magnificent view of the Cascade du Ray-Pic.
Descent to the waterfall: You can then continue down to the foot of the waterfall. Be careful, as the path can be slippery. - Return trip: Return by the same route.
Precautions and advice
For the more adventurous, it's possible to get as close as possible to the waterfall by following a signposted path. Beware, however, that the rocks can be slippery, so make sure you wear suitable footwear and stay alert, especially if you have children.
In summer, don't forget your water bottle, as it can get hot.
